What's happening
Dock is team chat built on an offline-first foundation. Everything sits on the device, so it opens and searches without waiting on a network. That part worked, and it stays.
So does the groundwork under it. Your data lives in the EU, on infrastructure we run, and your messages don't pass through third-party services on the way to you. We think that should be ordinary rather than a premium tier.
What we're doing now is widening it. Same foundation, more of the work a team actually does, and more care over the shape of it than we took the first time.
We're taking our time and writing down what we learn as we go, including the parts that don't flatter us.
